What can be done if my RHEL 3.0 Update 3 or Update 4 virtual machine hangs?

Solution

While running RHEL 3.0 Update 3 or Update 4, the guest operating system may hang due to a race condition within the guest operating system and the BusLogic driver. In order to avoid this situation, the LSI Logic driver should be configured as the host bus adapter for the virtual machine.
