Solution
Systems using the USB-UHCI device driver with the USB 2.0 interface cause ESX Server to show a false warning message during the boot sequence. It is safe to ignore this message.
To configure your system so that this warning does not appear the next time you boot your ESX Server machine:
- Log onto the service console as root.
- Edit
/etc/modules.conf. - Look for a line similar to:
alias usb-controller1 usb-ohci
- Comment out that line.
Example:#alias usb-controller1 usb-ohci
- Save your changes to
/etc/modules.confand exit.
