vmsnap_all Does Not Create a /var/log/backup.log File

Why can't I find the /var/log/backup.log file?

Solution

Due to a defect, vmsnap_all does not correctly create the log file as specified.
 
Note: This issue is resolved in ESX 2.5.3.
