Why do I get an error when I use the default naming when I create clones?

Solution


When you create multiple clones using a default name, a naming error stops you from making any additional clones after the eleventh clone. VirtualCenter issues an Another virtual machine with the given name already exists error.

Give each clone a unique name. Do not rely on an automatically incrementing numbers to assign unique names.

To correct this, upgrade to VirtualCenter 1.2 or later.
