IBM Director 5.10.3 Management Agent Installation Hangs

Details

When installing IBM Director 5.10.3, the last step of the installation ("setting default events") may take up to four minutes to complete.  This can happen if ESX Server cannot reach IBM's FTP site to retrieve data files during the installation.

Solution

Go to IBM's Web site and copy the data files required to complete the management agent installation.
