Installing VMware vCloud Request Manager (1031100)

Purpose

This article provides information about installing VMware vCloud Request Manager.

Resolution

You must meet all the prerequisites before the installation process and the system requirements before you install Request Manager. For more information, see VMware vCloud Request Manager installation prerequisites (1031117).
 
 
 
 
VMware vCloud Request Manager uses MSI installer. Selecting a custom install allows you to chose a different location to install the product and displays disk space usage/requirement.
 
To install VMware vCloud Request Manager:
  1. Double-click the setup up file if you are logged in as administrator. Otherwise, right-click setup.exe and choose Run as administrator.

    The InstallShield Wizard starts and extracts files required for the installation.

  2. Click Next to continue with the installation.

    The vCloud Request Manager License Agreement window displays.

  3. Select I accept the terms of the license agreement and click Next.
  4. Enter your username and company name and click Next.
  5. Select complete install to proceed with the installation. If you want to install the software other than the default location, choose Custom.
  6. Click Finish to complete the installation.

    A number of VMware Service Manager services are started when the install completes. At the end of the install, the VMware vCloud Request Manager configuration wizard is automatically launched.
