Increasing the video memory on VMware View desktops (1031002)
Note: Ensure that Video Adapter settings for the parent virtual machine is set to Auto-Detect before making the changes below.
- Edit the pool settings in the VMware View Connection Server Admin portal.
- Increase the number of monitors and the resolution to the maximum value.
- Shutdown and then power on all the virtual machines in the pool using the vSphere Client.
This sets the video memory to maximum setting, between 125MB to 128MB.
Note: Video Memory(VRAM) does not affect RDP sessions and the above steps are only applicable for connections through PCOIP.
