Solution
Summaries and Symptoms
This patch updates the service console kernel packages to resolve a security issue. The Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures project (cve.mitre.org) has assigned the name CVE-2010-3081 to this issue.
In addition, this patch resolves an issue where, if a 64-bit Windows virtual machine that uses software techniques for instruction set virtualization or Binary Translation (BT) is resumed from the suspended state or is migrated to an ESX 4.1 host, the virtual machine might stop responding, and the Microsoft Windows Event Logs might display error messages similar to the following:
