Upgrading ESX/ESXi 3.5 or 4.0 to ESX/ESXi 4.1 (1022140)

Purpose

This article provides steps which may be useful when upgrading from ESX/ESXi 3.5 or 4.0 to ESX/ESXi 4.1.

Resolution

To evaluate which upgrade method you should use when upgrading your ESX or ESXi host to 4.1, see Updating ESX 4.x to a newer released update (1016209).
