Details

If you change the keyboard settings on a Windows 2000 guest operating system to work with the regional language, you must save these settings so that they are correctly deployed on a cloned virtual machine.

Solution

To save the settings:
  1. Navigate to Control Panel>Regional and Language Options.
  2. In the Advanced tab, select Apply all settings to the current user account and to the default user profile check box.
  3. Your changes are applied to the cloned virtual machine deployed from the customized guest operating system's template.
