Repetitive VmkDev Log Entries After Installation of Management Agents

After installation of management agents, the following message appears in the vmkernel logs at /var/log/vmkernel every 30 seconds:

VmkDev: VMKDevNetDoIoctl:3293: dev=vmnic0 cmd=0x8946 ifr=cd133eb0 status=0x2bacffa1

These messages are unnecessary status notifications. In ESX Server software versions 3.0.2 and higher, these messages are not logged.
