Resolution
Windows 2008 has the User Access Control(UAC) turned on by default. As a result, the batch files that VCB runs do not get enough permission to complete the operation even if you are logged in as domain administrator.
To resolve this issue, turn off User Access Control. User Access Control cannot be turned off at the file level for batch files.
You can access the User Access Control setting from Control Panel > User Account. For more information, consult your Windows 2008 documentation.
If you dont want to disable UAC you would have to open the command prompt as Administrator. vcbSanDbg does not see any LUN's unless run from command prompt as Administrator.
vcbSanDbg prints out information about all visible SCSI disk devices. This is useful for troubleshooting SAN configuration issues. This tool is primarily meant for VMware Technical Support to assist with VCB setup issues.
