Site Recovery Manager reports the error: You do not hold privilege "System > View"

Symptoms

While using the HP StorageWorks storage replication adapter (SRA), you see this error:
You do not hold privilege "System > View"

Resolution

The software requirements for the SRA are independent of the software requirements of VMware Site Recovery Manager. When using a 3rd party SRA, ensure you are using a supported operating system for the SRA.
 
The attached document is the HP StorageWorks EVA virtualization adapter release notes. Pages 3 and 4 contain the following:
Windows Servers:
Windows XP Professional with SP2
Windows 2003 Server R2
Windows 2003 Server SP1 (All releases except 64 bit)
Windows 2000 Server SP4 (Update 1 and above)
If you are not using one of the operating systems listed above, consider using a supported operating system. For further information regarding the compatibility of the SRA, engage the appropriate SRA vendor.
