AppSpeed probe displays status as 'down' but is processing traffic
Symptoms
- The Probe Status displays down
- The probe is still monitoring traffic and seems to be functioning correctly
Resolution
This issue can occur when there is a prolonged time difference between the server and the probe. As a permanent solution, ensure your server and probe are in sync.
To workaround the issue:
- Open the console of the corresponding probe in the VI Client.
- Log in with the console user run the command:
restart_AppSpeed
After the probe restarts, the correct Probe Status displays.
