Changing AppSpeed server IP address requires reinstall of probes
Purpose
This article provides steps to resolve a situation where the IP address of the AppSpeed server is changed due to a manual change of a static address or a change caused by the DHCP.
Both changes cause the AppSpeed server to not work correctly.
Resolution
If AppSpeed is still functional using the original IP address, remove all probes and redeploy them after the AppSpeed server has received its new IP address.
To remove the probes:
- Click Administration.
- Click Delete Probe.
If the IP has already changed, the probes do not respond to requests from the AppSpeed server and must be deleted using the VI Client.
