This article provides the default login name and password for the VMware Data Recovery appliance.

Solution

The default login for the VMware Data Recovery appliance is root. The default password for the VMware Data Recovery appliance is vmw@re.

Note: If your vCenter Server has keyboard mappings other than the US, the @ symbol may be mapped to another key. For example, if you have a UK keyboard, but your vCenter Server has a US keyboard mapping, then the @ symbol may be located at the " key.
