Cannot customize RHEL 5 images

You may experience these symptoms:

You cannot customize a Red Hat Linux 5 image, even with a new template and new customization specs.
None of the customization settings take effect on reboot.

This issue occurs when you run SELinux on the template virtual machine. SELinux prevents the customization script from running on boot.

You can either disable SELinux or set it to Permissive. For more information, refer to your Red Hat documentation.
