Jumbo Frames support with Broadcom NICs (1009473)
Purpose
When using Broadcom chipsets VMware only officially supports the use of Jumbo Frames with chipsets that use the bnx2 driver such as 5708, 5706 and 5709.
Resolution
Using Jumbo Frames with chipsets that use the tg3 driver is not supported by VMware. For more information on hard compatibility, see the Search the Hardware Compatibility Guide page.
