VDM / View support for users that reside in NT4 domains
Details
Users that reside in an NT4 domain are only available to VDM or View if they are entitled via an Active Directory security group. This is because NT domains use NETBIOS for name resolution and directory services and, do not support LDAP or DNS.
Solution
If you want to add NT4 users to VDM or View, they must frst be added to a domain local group within the VDM / View Connection Server domain. No other support is provided for NT4 by VDM or View. Furthermore, users in a NT domain:
Cannot use smart card authentication to connect to their desktops
Are not supported by the operations provided by the command-line administrative tool vdmadmin.exe.
