View Administrator and VirtualCenter display the amount of free space for a datastore inconsistently (1008492)

Details

In some cases, from different hosts, the VirtualCenter Configuration page displays different amounts of free disk space for the same datastore. When this happens, View Manager displays the same inconsistent information as VirtualCenter.

Solution

In VirtualCenter, refresh the datastore in question.

Note: Refreshing the entire datastore list does not correct the problem. You must refresh the specific datastore that is inconsistently displayed.
