Unmanaged View Agent installation fails if computer description is zero length

Details

This problem can occur on any unmanaged agent installation if the computer description (Control Panel > System > Computer Name > Computer Description) is zero length. This problem does not occur if the computer description is missing entirely (if it has never been set), or if it is present with text.

Solution

To work around this problem, enter a computer description and reattempt the installation.
 
This problem is fixed in View 3.1.
