Performance Overview Charts Might Not Be Displayed If the VirtualCenter Server Uses Oracle Database

If you are using VirtualCenter 2.5 Update 4 with Oracle 9i or Oracle 10g database and the Performance Overview plug-in is installed, the Performance Overview tab in the VirtualCenter Server might not display performance charts and instead display a message similar to the following:
STATs Report service internal error Message: STATs Report application initialization is not completed successfully.

Solution

Workaround: When using Oracle 9i or Oracle 10g database with VirtualCenter Server:
  1. Download the ojdbc14.jar file from Oracle JDBC Driver release 10.2.0.1.0 or higher, and copy the file to the following location in the VirtualCenter Server machine:
    C:\Program Files\VMware\Infrastructure\VirtualCenter Server\tomcat\common\lib
    Note: You can download the file from: http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/tech/java/sqlj_jdbc/htdocs/jdbc_10201.html
  2. Start or Restart the VMware Infrastructure Web Access Service.
