The connection to the View Connection Server may be lost if the user immediately cancels while opening a desktop

Details

After opening a desktop, if the user presses cancel on the opening desktop dialog, the desktop list dialog box might appear to be disconnected from the View Connection Server.

Solution

Close and relaunch the View Client.
