The View Connection Server does not distinguish between original and cloned virtual machines

Details

Do not clone a virtual machine that is linked to an individual desktop because the broker will not be able to reconfigure the resulting cloned virtual machine. If the virtual machine linked to the desktop is subsequently cloned, the connection server will not reconfigure the cloned virtual machine because it will appear to be correctly configured.

Solution

Avoid powering on the clone following cloning until after a new individual desktop has been added pointing to the clone.
