If a user data disk is added to a linked clone Windows might relocate the CD-ROM to a different drive letter than the original drive letter the CD-ROM was assigned in the parent virtual machine (1007691)

In order to avoid this situation, the administrator should assign a "high" drive letter to the CD-ROM drive (E: or T: for example).
