This patch improves data collection when the vm-support script is run by the ESX administrator on request of VMware support or its support partners. The file that contains the SSL keys for communication between ESX and VC and other applications is no longer collected. To update ESX Server 3.0.3 hosts when not using VMware Update Manager, download the most recent patch bundle from http://support.vmware.com/selfsupport/download/ and install the bundle using esxupdate from the command line of the host.
