Create/Edit Wizard Permits Entry of Pool Size Greater than the Capacity of Selected Datastores
Details
The wizard for creating and editing desktop pools permits you to enter pool sizes that exceed the capacity of the selected datastores.
Solution
When creating a desktop pool, check the required sizes displayed in the datastore selection screen of the pool creation wizard. Accordingly, reduce the pool size or include additional datastores.
When editing a desktop pool, if you are increasing the pool size, ensure that you navigate to the datastore selection screen on the edit wizard and verify whether the space requirements are adequate. Do not click Finish on the wizard immediately after setting the pool size.
In View 3.1, a warning message is displayed to indicate when datastores used for the pool are low on disk space.
