Relaunching Multiple ACE Instances Running in Kiosk Mode Might Cause the VMware Player Menu to Appear

Details

Suppose you have two ACE instances running in kiosk mode on a Linux host and you press the key combination for exiting kiosk mode. If you then run a script to restart both ACE instances, one ACE instance displays the VMware Player menu.

Solution

Although the VMware Player menu appears, you are still prevented from accessing the host operating system. To remove the VMware Player menu, click the Maximize button to return to full screen mode.
