The ACE Keystroke Logging Detection Feature Gives False Positives for Some HP Keyboards

Details

Keyboards that use the SynTP keyboard filter driver, such as are used with some HP laptops, might result in an error message stating that a suspected keystroke logger has been detected when no keystroke logger is actually present. This can occur if you set an ACE policy to use the keystroke logging detection feature.

Solution

Avoid using the keystroke logging detection feature if the SynTP driver is used.
