Instance Customization Fails If the Initialization Script Is Placed in the ACE Resources Directory

Details

If you use the instance customization feature when creating an ACE package and you want to specify an initialization script, you must place the script in the guest file system rather than in the ACE Resources directory on the host.

Solution

Besides placing the initialization script in the guest's file system, you must specify the path to the script in the guest when configuring deployment settings for the ACE package. You can also specify additional commands to run the script.
