Limitations Regarding Taskbar Location for Linux Guests in Unity Mode
Details
In a multiple-monitor configuration, if you place the host's taskbar vertically along the side of one screen such that it splits the display, you might not be able to maximize application windows that are open in Unity mode. This happens in some versions of the Metacity window manager.
Solution
Keep your taskbar along the bottom of the monitor or along the far side of a monitor so that it does not bisect two monitors in a multiple-monitor configuration.
