Updating the Number of Ports on the Lab Manager Network Switch
Details
When you create a Lab Manager virtual network, a vSwitch is created with 56 ports by default.
To modify the number of ports of the port group or the vSwitch managed by Lab Manager:
Log in to the VI Client, and select the server from the inventory panel.
The hardware configuration page for the server appears.
Click
Networking
in the
Configuration
tab.
In the Networking window, select the vSwitch that you want to edit.
Click
Properties
for that vSwitch.
The vSwitch Properties dialog box appears.
Click the
Ports
tab.
Select the vSwitch in the
Configuration list
, and click
Edit
.
The vSwitch Properties dialog box appears.
Click the
General
tab to set the number of ports.
Select or enter the number of ports you want to use.
Modifications are reflected until you reboot ESX Server.
Click
OK
.
The number of ports for the switch is updated.
