Solution
Summary
When a CHAP authentication failure occurs, the ESX Server software iSCSI driver keeps trying indefinitely, causing numerous daemon threads to stop responding. This fix ensures that the ESX Server software iSCSI driver returns a failure code to the daemon when it fails to authenticate with the target on all the network connections over which it is visible.
