Determining VCB versions and build numbers (1007176)

Solution
In order to identify the version and build number of VCB installed on your Proxy server, follow the steps listed below:
Open a "command" prompt by clicking Start -> Run -> Type "command"

On the command prompt:

Go to the VMware Consildated Backup installation directory

For example: "cd C:\Program Files\VMware\VMware Consolidated Backup Framework\"

Type the following command:

vcbVmName.exe
-
-
For example:
C:\Program Files\VMware\VMware Consolidated Backup Framework>vcbVmName.exe
VMware Consolidated Backup -- VM Locator Utility
Version 1.5.0 (build-102898)

VMware Consolidated Backup -- VM Locator Utility
Version 1.5.0 (build-102898)

The output of the above command provides the version of VCB and build number installed on the Proxy server.
