Installing the APC Powerchute Network Shutdown software on ESXi/ESX hosts (multiple versions) (1007036)

Purpose

This article provides information on installing the APC PowerChute Network Shutdown software on ESXi/ESX hosts.
Note: APC PowerChute is a third-party product and is not officially supported by VMware. Please consult your software vendor for further updates and support. For more information, see APC Power Chute Network Shutdown.

Resolution

APC PowerChute Network Shutdown software works in conjunction with the APC UPS Network Management Card to provide a graceful, unattended shutdown of multiple computer systems over a network.
