Lab Manager installation requirements

This article explains the server, system, and license requirements for installing a Lab Manager environment.

To ensure you meet Lab Manager installation requirements:

Check the server system requirements to install Lab Manager server. For details on all requirements and procedures to set up the product, see:
Ensure Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 is installed on the server to run Lab Manager. Install either Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0, 3.0 or 3.5, (both versions 3.0 and 3.5 include .NET Framework 2.0 libraries).
Check the hardware compatibility list for the ESX hosts to be installed and managed with Lab Manager. For more information, see:

Verify that your ESX hosts to be managed by Lab Manager have compatible licenses installed.
