"Please insert the Disk:1" dialog appears when upgrading to VMware Update Manager Update 2 (1006565)

This is a known issue with ISO installs (physical CD or ISO-mounted installs) or installs from Removable Disks.

To resolve the issue:

Copy the Update Manager Install executable from the ISO/CD-ROM to the local drive and install from there.

Download the VirtualCenter installer as a Zip file from http://www.vmware.com/download/download.do?downloadGroup=VC250U2 and install.

Note: Perform only one of the actions listed.

This isssue is resolved in Update Manager 1.0 Update 3.
