Resolution
Validate that each troubleshooting step below is true for your environment. The steps will provide instructions or a link to a document, for validating the step and taking corrective action as necessary. The steps are ordered in the most appropriate sequence to isolate the issue and identify the proper resolution. Please do not skip a step.

If you are upgrading, confirm that the current version of the agent is running correctly. For more information, see Troubleshooting the LM Agent and checking the installed version (1006706).

Verify that the ESX host is correctly configured for use with Lab Manager prior to installing the agent. For more information, see Configuring an ESX server for lm-agent installation (1006964).

Verify network connectivity and DNS name resolution from the ESX host to the Lab Manager server. For more information, see Testing network connectivity with the ping command (1003486) and ESX/ESXi hosts have intermittent or no network connectivity (1004109).

Restart or start the Internet Information Services from the Internet Services Manager (IIS Manager). For more information, see
