Accessing VMware ThinApp licenses

Purpose

This article provides details for obtaining a VMware ThinApp 4 license and provides a link to information on filing support requests.

The following assumptions are taken into consideration in this article:

You have already downloaded and have a copy of Workstation or a clean virtual machine to install the product.
You have a valid support contract with VMware (ThinApp).

Resolution

Accessing VMware ThinApp Licenses

To access VMware ThinApp licenses:

Navigate towww.vmware.com.
Click My Account.
Enter your email address and password as provided during registration
From the Login to dropdown, choose Manage Product Licenses as the Destination and VMware Thinapp 4.xas the Product
Click Login

Note: Older version of ThinApp can be accessed from the Serial number look up page

Downloading and Licensing ThinApp

After noting down the license keys, the software for VMware ThinApp can be downloaded from the Support and Download Page. To license Thinapp, follow procedure in the article Licensing ThinApp 4.x (1021156)
