Guest customization in VirtualCenter 2.5 fails if TMP or TEMP environment variables have been modified
Symptoms

Customization of a Windows template fails after upgrading to VirutalCenter 2.5

Default Windows TMP and/or TEMP environment variables have been moved to a different location
-
The guestcust.log file displays the error:
Deleting directory C:\sysprep if it already exists
Moving directory sysprep to C:\sysprep
Move failed. Err: Access is denied.
Access is denied.
Rpci: Sending request='deployPkg.update.state 4 100
T:\TEMP\vmware-imc\guestcust.log@Access is denied.'

Note: This file is located in the TMP or TEMP directory on the guest. In this example the log is located in T:\TEMP\vmware-imc\guestcust.log .
Resolution
Currently, changing the TMP and/or TEMP environment variables is not supported. To customize a Windows virtual machine, ensure the environment variables are set to the Windows default:
