Antivirus Software Blocks SMTP Email Alerts From Stage Manager and Lab Manager (1005700)
Antivirus software can generate errors such as this one:
The SMTP settings are not properly configured. Failed to send email: The message could not be sent to the SMTP server. The transport error code was 0x800ccc15. The server response was not available.
To address the error
Disable the antivirus software from blocking outgoing email or install a mail server on the same system as the one that Stage Manager or Lab Manager Server runs on. Make sure that Stage Manager/Lab Manager sends email through the local SMTP server.
