Product Compatibility Between VMware Stage Manager and VMware Consolidated Backup (1005690)

You cannot back up Stage Manager virtual machines with VCB. VCB relies on VirtualCenter snapshots that are incompatible with Stage Manager.

To back up virtual machines in Stage Manager

Use your backup product's agents inside Stage Manager virtual machines.
