Configuring a License Source on an ESX host (1005486)

This article guides you through setting the License Source for an ESX host.

These steps allow you to set License Source on an ESX host:

Log into the VI Client and select that particular ESX host.
Click on the Configuration tab.
Select Licensed Features.
Edit the License Source and set it to DNS or IP address if using Server-Based or centralized licenses.

Alternatively, provide the full path of the license file if you are using a Host-Based license.
