When setting the default desktop on the command prompt, you must enter both domain name and username.

Details

When you enter the default desktop using the command prompt of the VDM Connection Server, you can enter only the user name and not the domain name and you do not get any errors or warnings. The desktop will not launch without the domain name entered.

Solution

Enter the user name and domain name when setting the default desktop using the command prompt of the VDM Connection Server.
