The View Agent cannot be installed on the same machine as Citrix XenDesktop (Citrix Desktop Server) virtual desktop agent.

Details

If both the Citrix agent and the View Agent are installed on the same machine, View Client connections to that machine will fail with authentication errors.

Solution

Uninstall the Citrix XenDesktop or Citrix Desktop Server agent before installing the View Agent.
