Creating a second root user account

This articles provides steps to create a second root user account.

To create a second root user:

Run the adduser -u 0 -o -g 0 -G 0,1,2,3,4,6,10 -M root2 command from the ESX server console.

Omit the -M if you want a home directory created.
Run the passwd root2 command to create a password.
