Resolved Issues specific to ESX Server 3.5 Update 1

2.5.x tarball upgrade to ESX Server 3.5.0 succeeds but the subsequent patch installation on the ESX Server 3.5 fails.

Fixed an issue where patches fail to install on a host upgraded from ESX Server 3.0.x that has patches installed.

Fixed an issue where after an upgrade, esxupdate -l query shows removed RPMs as missing. The removed RPMs are ones that are obsoleted by new RPMs and removed during the upgrade.

Fixed an issue where the installation of ESX Server 3.5.0 fails when Fibre Channel HBA is connected and shared storage is presented. The error reported is, Runtime Error:Checking the size of a partition which has not been allocated yet.

Fixed an issue where the ESX Server 3.5 Installer repeatedly reports the error: Attempt to read sectors 38912-38912 outside of partition on /devsdX.

Fixed an issue where the stopping or starting of mgmt-vmware service causes virtual machines configured with auto start or stop to unexpectedly restart.
