Non ASCII Characters Are Not Supported in DRS Rule Name and in Advanced Options Setting of DRS
Details
If non-ASCII characters are used in DRS Rule Name or in the Advanced Options setting of DRS, the VirtualCenter Server might stop responding.
Solution
With VirtualCenter 2.5 Update 1, you hear a beep when a non-ASCII character is entered in DRS Rule Name or in any Advanced Options setting of DRS. If you still retain the non-ASCII character, error messages similar to the following might appear when you click OK:
Rule name can contain ASCII characters only.
Text can contain ASCII characters only.
