Network adapters are not detected with NetXen 10 Gigabit Ethernet NIC cards (1004142)

Details

If a NetXen 10 Gigabit Ethernet NIC card is present during a fresh ESX Server installation from CD, not all network adapters appear on the Network Configuration page of the installation wizard.

Solution

Install ESX Server with the NetXen 10 Gigabit adapters removed and install the NetXen 10 Gigabit adapter after you install ESX Server.
