Benign Error Message Appears in /root/upgrade.log After Upgrading from ESX Server 2.5.5 to ESX Server 3.5 Update 1 (1003970)

When upgrading from ESX Server 2.5.5 GA to ESX Server 3.5 Update 1, the following benign error messages appear in the root/upgrade.log file:

/sbin/ldconfig: /lib/libnss_wins.so is not a symbolic link

/sbin/ldconfig: /lib/libnss_winbind.so is not a symbolic link

install-info: warning: no entries found for `/usr/share/info/fileutils.info.gz'; nothing deleted

install-info: warning: no entries found for `/usr/share/info/sh-utils.info.gz'; nothing deleted

install-info: warning: no entries found for `/usr/share/info/textutils.info.gz'; nothing deleted

These messages can be safely ignored.
